Planet Fitness, Inc. Announces Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2015 Results

NEWINGTON, N.H.- Planet Fitness, Inc. (NYSE: PLNT) reported financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2015. Year-end highlights include: Total revenue increased from the prior year by 18.1% to $330.5 million. System-wide same store sales increased 7.7%. Net income was $38.1 million compared to net income of $37.3 million in the prior year. Pro forma adjusted net income increased 26.2% to $53.2 million, or $0.54 per diluted share, compared to $42.2 million, or $0.43 per diluted share in the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA 22.8% to $123.5 million from $100.5 million in the prior year. 209 new Planet Fitness stores were opened system-wide during the year. Read More...

DALLAS, TX -- ClubCorp -- The World Leader in Private Clubs (NYSE: MYCC) -- announced financial results for its fiscal-year 2015 fourth quarter ended December 29, 2015. The fourth quarter of fiscal 2015 and fiscal 2014 consisted of 16 weeks. Year-to-date results of fiscal 2015 and fiscal 2014 consisted of 52 weeks. All growth percentages refer to year-over-year progress: Full-year revenue was $1.1 billion, up 19.1%, while adjusted EBITDA was $233.7 million, up 19.0%; Fourth quarter revenue was $331.7 million, up 9.6%, while adjusted EBITDA was $79.6 million, up 14.8%; ClubCorp anticipates 2016 adjusted EBITDA to be between $242 and $252 million; ClubCorp's Board of Directors has authorized the Company to repurchase up to $50 million of its common stock by December 31, 2017.
