BOSTON, MA - The 2024 IHRSA Convention & Trade Show wrapped last week with buzz about the organization's new name launch and targeted mission to be the global community for health and fitness leaders focused on advocacy, education and research. IHRSA Releases 2023 U.S. Health & Fitness Consumer Report

BOSTON, MA - The number of Americans who were members of a fitness facility in 2022 increased by 3.7% to 68.9 million consumers ages six and older, a record number for the industry, and overall facility users (members plus non-member users) climbed 8.1% to 82.7 million people, according to the 2023 U.S. Health & Fitness Consumer Report, released by IHRSA, the Health & Fitness Association, a global community of health and fitness industry leaders. BRAZIL - For decades, the IHRSA Fitness Brazil Conference & Trade Show has been the largest, widely anticipated, and highly respected fitness, sport, health and wellness event in Latin America. This year’s gathering, the 24th in history, occurred August 16 - 19 at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo. 15,000 visitors took advantage of more than 30 educational programs and attended 200 lectures, hearing from hundreds of speakers.
