LAFAYETTE, IN - Not only does obesity come with health costs at a personal level, it also impacts the economy. According to the results of a new study, the business cost of obesity-related absences amounts to about $8.65 billion. It's a small wonder companies are looking into ways of encouraging their employees to become and/or stay more fit. Global Alliance Announces Plan for Congressional Commitments to Move American Health

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Global Alliance for Health & Performance announced an ambitious initiative to secure from every member of Congress a signed commitment to promote physical activity as a means for combatting what is considered a national health care crisis. The Congressional Commitment to Physical Activity was developed by the Global Alliance as a distinctive way to garner leadership and support in the fight for a healthier America.
