PTR & Mexican Tennis Federation Sign Partnership

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) announces a groundbreaking partnership with the Mexican Tennis Federation (FMT). As part of a multi-year agreement, PTR will be responsible for all education and certification in Mexico. PTR will conduct all Levels of PTR education in Mexico, which will include certification workshops (Level I through 5) and Continuing Education courses. Planet Fitness, Inc. Announces Second Quarter 2017 Results

HAMPTON, N.H. - Planet Fitness, Inc. (NYSE: PLNT) reported financial results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2017. Second Quarter Fiscal 2017 highlights include: Total revenue increased from the prior year period by 17.3% to $107.3 million. System-wide same store sales increased 9.0%. Net income attributable to Planet Fitness, Inc. was $12.4 million, or $0.16 per diluted share, compared to net income attributable to Planet Fitness Inc. of $4.1 million, or $0.11 per diluted share in the prior year period. Net income was $18.0 million, compared to net income of $18.1 million in the prior year period. Adjusted net income increased 28.9% to $21.7 million, or $0.22 per diluted share, compared to $16.8 million, or $0.17 per diluted share in the prior year period. Adjusted EBITDA increased 30.3% to $47.9 million from $36.8 million in the prior year period. 37 new Planet Fitness franchise stores were opened during the period, bringing system-wide total stores to 1,403 at June 30, 2017.
