Michele Achterberg Joins the Wellbeats Corporate Sales Team

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Michele Achterberg joins Wellbeats with over twenty years of experience leading national sales for health and wellness start-up companies, including eMindful, Color Genomics, RedBrick Health and Castlight Health.
For the twelve years prior to that, Michele worked for Ceridian, a human capital management company, focusing on solutions that benefit employee health and wellness, including EAP solutions and health coaching.
Michele enjoys advocating for wellness with employers and consultants in her region, and deeply values the development of enduring, trusted relationships. As a breast cancer survivor, she is passionate about wellness both personally and professionally. She loves knowing that her success paves the road for personal opportunity for many employees that wouldn’t have otherwise been inspired to change. She is especially excited to join Wellbeats where she will be able to leverage their industry-leading solution to motivate employers to launch on-demand fitness as a part of their comprehensive wellness strategy.
Michele lives in the Washington, DC metro area with her husband, and together they have five children, two post-college age, two college juniors and a high school freshman. Her husband is a retired Navy Officer and currently works as an IT executive with the US Coast Guard. In her “spare” time, she enjoys on-demand fitness, running, yoga, playing the piano and traveling, and most of all, playing and hiking with their two golden retrievers.
