FRANKLIN PARK, IL – Life Fitness, a global leader in commercial fitness equipment, has announced the relocation of its global headquarters to Franklin Park, Illinois to consolidate its corporate operations, effective July 1, 2021. The consolidation effort will support future growth and innovation across the organization and provide a space to engage and collaborate with customers.

Life Fitness will completely renovate the 200,000 square foot facility with a modern floorplan by adding open workspaces and meeting rooms equipped with the technology needed to maximize employee collaboration in person and across the globe. New work-life amenities, including an on-site café, fitness center and more, will allow employees to incorporate health and fitness activities into their workday.

“Our vision for the newly designed global headquarters in Franklin Park is a reflection of our values and our mission of inspiring healthier lives. Our employees are essential to that mission, and we want them to be able to lead healthy, active lives, even in the workplace,” said Chris Clawson, CEO of Life Fitness. “This move underscores our commitment to making Life Fitness a great a place to work, and we are excited to create a space for our employees that will inspire more innovation, creativity and collaboration among teams. We are looking forward to expanding our corporate operations in Franklin Park and continuing to be part of this community.”

Once complete, the Franklin Park facility will feature a state-of-the art fitness showroom with premium products from the entire Life Fitness Family of Brands. The multi-functional showroom will serve as a fitness center for employees and space to host a variety of events, including interactive workshops and trainings for customers. The headquarters will also house the first U.S. based Experience Center, which will showcase the latest product innovations and solutions to support new product ideas and drive collaboration with customers.

Clawson added, “The showroom and Experience Center will allow us to better engage, listen and learn from our customers, so we can continue to develop the products and solutions they need to be successful. We are excited to have a facility where customers and employees can all experience our products first-hand and work together to innovate for the future.”

Life Fitness will transition out of its Rosemont, Ill. location this month and begin construction on the Franklin Park facility (10601 Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131) in August 2021. The renovations at Franklin Park are expected to be completed in 2023.
