ECORE International Adds New Senior Staff Members

LANCASTER, PA – Ecore, a company that transforms reclaimed waste into unique performance surfacing, is delighted to announce Michael Sage has joined the company as the new Vice President of Sales and Mark Huxta has joined the company in a new role as the Director of Sales for Healthcare.
Michael Sage graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and attended Harvard Business School for post graduate study. Prior to joining Ecore, Sage worked for Nora Systems, a resilient flooring company based in Salem, N.H., where he was the Vice President of Sales.
During his 15-year career with Nora, Sage held various positions, including Market Segment Manager, Western Regional Manager, and National Sales Manager.
Sage replaces Lori Dowling, who retires from her position as President of Ecore Commercial Flooring. Dowling will remain active as a member of the Ecore Board of Directors.
Mark Huxta has more than 30 years of commercial flooring experience, most recently as the Strategic Account Manager for the Healthcare Segment at Mannington Commercial.
“In Mark’s ten years with Mannington, he built an impressive resume of customers and facilities across the Northeast,” said Arthur Dodge, III, president and CEO of Ecore. “In this new role, Mark will work closely with our 3 Regional Sales Directors under the Ecore Commercial Flooring (ECF) business unit, as well as with ECF’s key agent partners.”
Ecore is planning to introduce two brand-new healthcare flooring products later this year: Terrain rx and Galaxy rx. Rx is a premium group of ECF products that offer a prescription for comfort. Each product in the Rx collection focuses on energy. This is made possible through Ecore’s patented itstru technology, which produces surfaces that provide energy absorption and energy return. Huxta’s new role will assist in promoting these types of products on a national level.
Huxta is a recognized industry leader, manager, and partner to many leading healthcare organizations throughout the country. His experience and knowledge are invaluable and will allow Ecore to rapidly build upon its demonstrated success in delivering high performance healthcare surfacing solutions.
