INDIANAPOLIS, IN - “The World's Largest Exercise Class” is coming to children and schools around the world on May 3. Millions of participants across the globe will be celebrating the 29th annual Project ACES Day beginning at 10AM on Wednesday, May 3. This Youth Fitness Coalition (YFC) signature program, in partnership with the American College of Sports Medicine’s Exercise is Medicine initiative, promotes physical activity to children in order to decrease the prevalence of childhood obesity. Hundreds of Anytime Fitness Gyms to Host “May Free Workouts” to Keep America Moving

WOODBURY, MN - Starting as a grassroots effort by a few Anytime Fitness gyms in 2015, "May Free Workouts" has grown into a nationwide campaign to promote physical activity. More than 700 gyms participated last year, with a similar number expected to host 2017 events. Activities in past years have included yoga sessions in the park, tug-of-war competitions, Zumba classes and kickboxing lessons. NEW YORK, N.Y. - Town Sports International Holdings, Inc. (“TSI” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: CLUB) reported financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2017. Total member count increased 7,000to 551,000 during Q1 2017 compared to an increase of 12,000 in Q1 2016. Membership monthly attrition averaged 3.9% per month in Q1 2017 compared to 3.5% per month in Q1 2016. Q1 2017 net loss was $2.9 million, or $0.11 loss per share, compared with Q1 2016 net loss of $6.9 million, or $0.28 loss per share.
