NORWALK, CT - FIBO USA 2020 has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the related impact on the fitness industry. The show was scheduled for November 6 - 8 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. ACSM Updates Recommendations to Prevent Cardiovascular Events at Fitness Facilities

Gyms Ramp Up Safety and Cleaning Protocols to Welcome Back Members

BOSTON, MA - Most of the nearly 50,000 U.S. health clubs were mandated to close in mid-March. Fitness professionals have spent this time increasing their cleaning and safety protocols and creating safety plans to share with their regional authorities to receive permission to reopen. CHICAGO, IL and BIRMINGHAM, AL - Leading plaintiffs' law firm Grant & Eisenhofer has filed suit against Deerfield, Illinois-based Markel Insurance Co. for failing to accept claims from franchisees of national fitness chain Anytime Fitness that were shuttered and lost business due to state-imposed COVID-19 restrictions.
