World’s Largest UFC Gym Opens In Los Angeles County On Saturday, January 23

LA MIRADA, CA – UFC GYM, known for its unique Train Different approach that combines the world of mixed martial arts (MMA) and fitness, will open its largest gym since the brand’s inception in 2009 at 8AM on Saturday, January 23.
The new gym, open 24 hours a day, is located at 14920 La Mirada Blvd in Mirada, a city in southeast Los Angeles County. The La Mirada location joins more than 130 UFC GYM clubs and 100,000 members worldwide and is the fifth signature club in the region along with locations in Torrance, Corona, South Corona and Rosemead, Calif.
Throughout opening day, UFC GYM will host a variety of activities including demonstrations of UFC GYM’s most popular programs and classes. There will also be a ribbon cutting ceremony with the La Mirada Mayor, DJ, discounts at the Arm Bar Café, drawings and giveaways including a large screen TV and family-friendly activities such as a jump house and face painting for kids.
The opening day schedule is available below. Activities are free and open to the community:
- 8:00 am | Gym Opens for Members and Guests
- 10:00 – 11:30 am | Morning Demonstrations in Octagon
- 1:00 – 2:30 pm | Afternoon Demonstrations in Octagon
- 4:00 – 5:30 pm | Evening Demonstrations in Octagon
- ALL DAY | Members and Guests can workout anytime
The demonstrations include Striking: Boxing/Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, MMA, Daily Ultimate Training (DUT), Group Fitness (Zumba & P90X) and Youth programs.
The 46,000 square-foot facility features a 30-foot Octagon, top-of-the-line strength training and cardio machines, battle ropes, agility ladders, bag room, Brazilian jiu-jitsu studio, large group fitness rooms and other functional training equipment for dynamic workouts. The gym’s explosive workout environment uses cutting-edge training techniques inspired by UFC athletes and provides members with everything needed for the entire family to sweat, move, live and Train Different.
