Between January- March of 2016, World Gym opened franchised gyms in:

Australia

  • Albury, New South Wales

  • Malaga, Western Australia

Egypt

  • Cairo

Canada

  • North London, Ontario

In addition to the gyms that opened, World Gym signed franchise agreements for additional gyms in Brampton and Downtown Hamilton in Canada, and Heliopolis in Egypt.

World Gym has been investing significantly in its franchising efforts over the past several years, which has shown rapid expansion across North America, Australia, Asia and The Middle East. World Gym recently started celebrating its 40th Anniversary with events at both IHRSA in Orlando and FIBO in Cologne. World Gym previously announced that it has targeted Europe for additional growth, expecting to have more than 200 locations solidified by 2020.

World Gym’s franchising program has been successful in large part due to the marketing, branding and sales support provided by World Gym International’s corporate team and the peer network of over 200 gym owners from around the globe.
