New General Managers for ClubSport San Jose and ClubSport Fremont

PLEASANTON, CA – Leisure Sports Inc. today announced the appointment of Oscar Bazan to the position of general manager of ClubSport San Jose, replacing current general manager, Angela Grisar, who will transition to general manager of ClubSport Fremont. The appointments are effective as of March 1, 2015.
As general managers, Bazan and Grisar will be responsible for the day-to-day club operations as well as strategically working to enhance the member experience at these clubs. Both Bazan and Grisar have been part of the Leisure Sports management team for almost a year.
“They are talented general managers and they are ready for a change and a new challenge,” said Brian Amador, vice president of operations for Leisure Sports. “We believe it’s important to keep and nurture talent, and one of the best ways is by providing them with fresh opportunities for success.”
Grisar, formerly general manager of ClubOne at SilverCreek, transitioned that property to ClubSport San Jose at Silver Creek. Bazan was general manager of the recently closed ClubSport Green Valley in Henderson, Nevada.
Prior to joining the Leisure Sports team, Bazan had worked at many notable clubs, including Bally Total Fitness, Crunch, and Pinnacle Fitness. Grisar started her club management career at ClubSport San Ramon prior to joining ClubOne. A lifetime athlete, Grisar was ranked third in the world in women’s racquetball and is currently training for the Pan Am Trials in March, hoping to qualify for the Pan Am games in Canada next July.
