CHANHASSEN, MN – There are exciting opportunities ahead for the brand that took the fitness industry by storm, Snap Fitness. Lift Brands, the parent company for the Snap Fitness brand, recently reacquired the master franchise rights for Spain from its master franchisee (Snap Fitness Iberia) and entered into a joint venture arrangement with certain members of the master franchisee’s existing management team. Lift Brands is excited for the future of the brand and for the many opportunities the new joint venture provides to both the existing Snap Fitness Spain management team and Snap Fitness members.

The fitness industry requires constant innovation and adaptation to meet consumer demands. Lift Brands is investing significant time and resources into the local Spanish market to promote the growth and expansion of the Snap Fitness brand. Through this acquisition, Lift Brands will be equipped to anticipate the changes in the fitness industry landscape and be able to evolve the Snap Fitness business model ahead of the anticipated trends. “I’m looking forward to becoming more connected with the brand, streamlining our processes and for the chance to boost our growth,” says Albert Marco, Managing Director of Snap Fitness Iberia. “I’m thrilled that we’ll be given the chance to coordinate our efforts to grow better and faster in the Spanish territory.”

The Snap Fitness franchise opportunity isn’t the only fitness franchise that will be developing in Spain. Lift Brands is also bringing additional franchising opportunities to the area with the wildly popular fitness concept, 9Round. A 9Round franchise is an innovative, boutique-like boxing concept that offers convenience and tangible results for its members. The 9Round franchise opportunity offers an affordable option for entrepreneurs looking to break into the fitness industry, along with the same full suite of business support and strong brand recognition as the Snap Fitness brand.

Although the Spain master franchise rights have been repurchased by Lift Brands, the on-the-ground management team in Spain will remain the same, with the addition of a few new faces:

  • Albert Marco: Managing Director;
  • Eduard Puig: Marketing Manager;
  • Anett Kovács: Business Development;
  • Ester Ribera: New Operations Director;
  • Alex Bonet: New Franchise Sales Manager.

In 2019, the Snap Fitness franchise model is evolving to offer a larger functional fitness zone, 24/7 functional fitness workouts, exciting fitness challenges, and much more. Looking to the future, the goal is to open 100 clubs by the end of 2020 and to continue growing the brand across Spain. Between 9Round and Snap Fitness, consumers will have the opportunity to seek out a variety of health and fitness options to meet their individual needs and find the results they have always wanted.
