Leisure Sports Announces Kevin Cabral as New General Manager of the Renaissance ClubSport Hotel and Fitness Resort

PLEASANTON, CA – Kevin Cabral has been appointed general manager at the Renaissance ClubSport Walnut Creek. A 15-year veteran with Leisure Sports, Inc. and Renaissance ClubSport, Cabral is responsible for overseeing the private membership fitness club and 175 room hotel property located in the suburban California community of Walnut Creek.
“We are elated to have Mr. Cabral leading our team of hotel and fitness professionals at Renaissance ClubSport,” said Ralph Rajs, senior vice president of operations for Leisure Sports. “His management skills along with his years of experience with Leisure Sports give him a great understanding what it takes to deliver uncompromising service to our fitness club members and hotel guests.”
Cabral joined Renaissance ClubSport as part of the hotel’s opening team in 2002. Most recently held the position of sales director over both club memberships and hotel sales. Prior to joining Renaissance ClubSport he held positions at ClubSport Pleasanton and ClubSport Valley Vista, both premier Leisure Sports fitness clubs. His experience in variety of positions has uniquely qualified him to manage this award winning Renaissance ClubSport Property.
A Bay Area native, Cabral earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Recreation Administration from Humboldt State University. He is an avid cyclist, enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and two children. Cabral’s appointment follows on the heels of general manager, Brian Amador’s promotion to Leisure Sports vice president of hotel and club operations, where he will oversee six stand-alone ClubSport fitness clubs and two Renaissance ClubSport hotel and fitness resorts.
