NEW YORK, N.Y. – Crunch, the health club chain best known for making serious fitness fun through unique programming and cutting-edge training, announces a new franchise location in Santa Maria, CA. Open for workouts since spring 2016, Crunch Santa Maria brings its ‘No Judgments’ philosophy and fusion of fitness meets entertainment to the active surrounding community.

The 20,000 square-foot facility boasts 60+ pieces of state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, more than 80,000 combined pounds of free weights, tanning and HydroMassage, full-service locker rooms complete with showers and changing rooms and a functional training area. The gym will be operated by General Manager Jay Moha and partner Nathan Groskreutz.

Crunch is known for its innovative group fitness programming and offers a full roster of classes including BodyWeb with TRX, Zumba, Cardio Tai Box, Yoga Body Sculpt, Fat Burning Pilates and more.

Those looking for guidance at the gym can join CAMP CRUNCH, a program that gives members of all fitness levels the opportunity to work one-on-one or in small groups with an expert trainer. Trainers develop personalized plans to help members meet their individual fitness goals through signature small group training, cutting-edge personal training and unique nutrition programs.

Operating more than 20 Crunch clubs to date, Owner David Harman brings years of customer service and fitness industry experience to Santa Maria. “We’re excited to venture further northwest and bring this brand to the health-conscious Santa Maria area. With memberships starting at just $9.95 a month, we love having the ability to give members more value for less money – a rarity in this industry and many others. We pride ourselves on maintaining a fun, friendly, judgment-free experience for all of our members,” Harman said.

With more locations in development in California, the team has also secured development rights for expansion in other states and regions.
