UFC Gym Set to Open New 42,000 Square-Foot Location in Huntington Beach on May 13

SANTA ANA, CA – UFC GYM announced that the opening of its newest signature gym will be in Huntington Beach, California on Saturday, May 13. This 42,000 square-foot gym’s grand opening festivities will begin at 8AM PT. As a signature gym, this location will be open 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
“We’ve been looking forward to opening a UFC GYM of this size in Huntington Beach since the day we started this company,” UFC GYM President Adam Sedlack said. “In the past year, we’ve have hired the some of the best fitness professional in the industry and built our brand’s most innovative facility! We can’t wait to showcase this gym and demonstrate how we create unique fitness and community experiences for our members through our great coaches, training sessions and group classes.”
As one of the most advanced signature gyms in the world, this state-of-the-art facility features a 30-foot Octagon, top-of-the-line strength training and cardio machines, battle ropes, agility ladders, bag room, Brazilian jiu-jitsu studio and other functional training equipment for dynamic workouts. The facility also offers group classes, a kid’s gym, an Arm Bar Café, locker rooms with full amenities, turf, indoor running track and multiple training rooms (bag, mat, group fitness).
This new UFC GYM – Huntington Beach location will not only serve as the second-largest in the world (La Mirada, CA), but will also be the most innovative, as UFC GYM members will have access to a new Recovery Corner following their workouts. The Recovery Corner will feature the latest sports recovery methods, including: Compression Therapy (NormaTec), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (Graston) and Percussion Therapy. All treatments will be administered and overseen by highly trained staff.
On Saturday, UFC GYM will be offering free classes and demonstrations beginning at 9AM that will continue into the evening. UFC strawweight contender and ‘DWTS’ alum Paige VanZant, former UFC middleweight contender Mark Munoz and former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight contender Dan Henderson will be on-hand to lead the seminars. At 7PM, the gym will host a free screening of UFC 211: MIOCIC vs. DOS SANTOS 2 for all guests in attendance.
There will also be a chance for attendees to win a trip to Las Vegas. Saturday, May 13 will be the last opportunity for prospective members to take advantage of the gym’s special pre-opening rates.
Since debuting in 2009, UFC GYM has opened more than 135 locations throughout the United States, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Oman, Philippines, South America, Taiwan, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates. The fitness franchise has continued to grow at a rapid pace with more than 50 locations opening in the past two years and over 50 gyms expected to open in the next year.
