USTA Commits $3 Million to Refurbish up to 200 Courts Across U.S.

ORLANDO, FL - In recognition of Coco Gauff’s U.S. Open women’s singles title, and to celebrate an American winning the U.S. Open, the USTA has committed to the refurbishment of up to 200 courts across the country, as part of the newly created US Open Legacy Initiative. In total, the USTA will allocate $3 million to reinvigorate courts at public parks and facilities across America, dedicated in Coco Gauff’s name. PURCHASE, N.Y. - The USTA Foundation, the charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association Incorporated (USTA), announces that, for the tenth consecutive year, it has partnered with longtime US Open sponsor Chase to award 27 National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapters with $325,000 in total grants to support year-round tennis and education programming. This year, more than 54,000 youth from under-resourced communities will be impacted by these grants.
