Fitness Industry Celebrates Record-Breaking Fundraising Year During IHRSA’s 12th Annual BASH for Augie’s Quest to Cure ALS

LOS ANGELES, CA - Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a neurodegenerative disease affecting far too many people and families. BOCA RATON, FL - Orangetheory Fitness, the scientifically backed and fast-growing fitness franchise, announced it raised more than $2 million in two weeks for Augie's Quest, a foundation dedicated to finding a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) disease. Nieto created the Lifecycle and co-founded Life Fitness, a company he ran for 25 years. 100th Patient Enrolled in World’s First Precision Medicine Program for ALS

CAMBRIDGE, MA – The ALS Therapy Development Institute announced that it has enrolled the 100th patient in its Precision Medicine Program (PMP). This milestone marks a significant step in the program, which after now includes over 500 people interested in participating and 280 pre-screened for enrollment. Nearly 200 additional people living with ALS (PALS) or healthy volunteers have been scheduled for participation before the end of the year.
