ORLANDO, FL – The USTA announces that it has entered into a Gold Membership Agreement with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), which will give U.S. certified coaches and teaching professionals access to the ITF Academy, the ITF’s official online education platform.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for coaches who want to enhance and expand their knowledge and understanding of all aspects of tennis,” said Paul Roetert, Managing Director, USTA-U. “Those accessing the ITF Academy can also take advantage of the robust ITF Library component (formerly iCoach). The Library features 1500 modules, including high-quality videos from tennis conferences around the world, expert interviews, up-to-date articles as well as scientific research papers.”

The ITF Academy will be available as a resource to all PTR- and USPTA-certified members in the U.S. Both organizations will provide a member access code and ITF link to register.

“Access to the ITF Academy is another example of how we all benefit when the sport works as one,” said USPTA CEO John Embree.

“We’d like to thank the USTA for its continued commitment to provide certified coaches and teaching professionals opportunities for growth and improvement,” added PTR CEO Dan Santorum.
