NEW YORK, N.Y. – SKILLBIKE by Technogym has been awarded with the Good Design Award 2018, one of the world’s most recognized and oldest Design Awards program organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. The trademarked awards were created in Chicago in 1950 by three architects: Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames and Edgar Kaufmann, Jr.
The 68th Good Design Award recognizes the work of thousands of designers and manufacturers worldwide who have successfully undertaken the design challenge to produce the best and most outstanding design products across the globe to our large and expanding global consumers. Over 900 new products and graphic designs were selected from over 47 countries for different categories among which: new electronics, medical equipment, furniture and sports and recreation.

At the heart of SKILLBIKE is the ingenious ROAD EFFECT system which simulate the feeling of riding outdoors by reading your pedaling style and performance parameters. To offer the same feeling of outdoor riding, SKILLBIKE reproduces the biomechanics of outdoor bikes.
