MINNEAPOLIS, MN – FitnessOnDemand, a leader in premium, on-demand fitness content for health clubs, hotels and commercial properties, announced two senior management changes that further spotlight the company’s vision for technology-led growth.

Effective immediately, Uday Anumalachetty, Senior Product Manager and FOD’s technology leader, assumes the leadership role of Divisional Vice President for the company, while Andrew Evenson, Director of Brand, is promoted to Senior Director, Operations and Brand Strategy. The changes sharpen the company’s focus on a dual strategy of category-leading technological innovation and development and across-the-board operational excellence.

“We’re watching the emerging macro trends that are really shaping the future of our business and we’re acting accordingly,” says Tom Welter, Chief Operating Officer of Lift Brands, parent company to FitnessOnDemand. “Consumers want always-on, easy access to a wide variety of personalized content wherever and whenever they want it. Club owners want to engage those same consumers beyond the gym walls with their brand and their offerings. So the future for our business has to be about continuing to invest in the best content that engages consumers, but also in designing the technologies and bringing the right management team into place to take us and our customers to the next level.”

FitnessOnDemand’s appointment of Uday Anumalachetty to the key leadership role of Divisional Vice President is a testament to the singular importance of technology driving the company’s growth vision for the future. He brings more than two decades of technology, engineering and business leadership experience to the task as well as a long track record in integrating leading-edge product design and category-defining user experience to drive customer success at the enterprise level. Anumalachetty holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

Andrew Evenson brings more than a decade of broad ranging marketing and brand management experience in the fitness industry – including four and half years with FitnessOnDemand – to his new role as Senior Director Operations and Brand Strategy. In that time he has been instrumental in positioning the company as the industry leader in enterprise fitness technology while securing and growing key partnerships with some of the world’s leading fitness experts and content producers that have created market leader status in the health club, multifamily housing and hotel industries. In his expanded role, Evenson will lead the charge for operational excellence across every touch point of the business and chart a course for strategic brand growth.

“There is an enormous opportunity in the virtual fitness space,” says Uday Anumalachetty, Divisional Vice President, FitnessOnDemand. “But the brands and businesses that are going to succeed two, five or ten years from now will be the ones that truly understand what the user wants and design exceptional products and services that deliver a game changing experience every time.”
