Remote Live Class Linking Now Available on FitnessOnDemand

CHANHASSEN, MN – There’s no question that remote fitness training and classes is becoming more popular than ever, in many cases, out of necessity. However, just like many of the adjustments industries are making right now, we expect off-site virtual fitness and remote training to stick around as a staple of the new normal. To accommodate facilities with this evolving trend, FitnessOnDemand has enhanced our scheduling tool to allow the addition of hyperlinked URLs.
This allows facilities to add a remote session link from services like Zoom, Facebook Live and others to any scheduled live event. Those events and links get published to a variety of facility schedule outlets like the FLEX customer portal, facility public calendar and our iOS/Android app making them quickly accessible and discoverable by their members or prospects.
As consumers are understandably slow to return to crowded public places, this will provide an opportunity for facilities to offer a hybrid approach to group fitness moving forward to accommodate all members. Whether members attend the class in person at the gym or RSVP and attend virtually at home they’ll have options to stay fit and stay connected to their gym wherever they are.
