WOODINVILLE, WA and VENICE, CA – Precor, an industry-leading provider of personalized fitness solutions, and Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc., the creators of the Spinning indoor cycling program and Spinner line of bikes, released the new Spinner Ride, Spinner Shift and Spinner Rally, as well as an all new range of education resources, both of which aim to reinvent the indoor cycling experience for operators and exercisers.

“When we looked at the offerings on the market, we saw a number of ways we could combine our engineering expertise with Mad Dogg Athletics’ knowledge of indoor cycling bikes, programming and education to create a market-leading line of products that would benefit operators,” said Adam Hubbard, Director of Product Management at Precor. “Through our collaboration, we’ve created a line of bikes that has a distinctive look, durable construction and intuitive adjustments and, by leveraging Spinning programming and education, has the ability to help gym operators grow their business.”

The all-new Spinner line of bikes features a range of benefits for operators, including:

  • Built to Last Craftsmanship – Spinner bikes manufactured by Precor are offered in powder-coated steel or aluminum frames that are designed to resist corrosion and sweat, helping to reduce long term operations costs. Reliability is improved with stainless steel fasteners, aluminum adjustments, innovative threadless pedals and bottom bracket spindle connection.
  • Community Insights – With Spinner bikes by Precor, Spinning Instructors can join the original worldwide indoor cycling community and give their facilities the credibility to attract and retain indoor cycling enthusiasts.
  • Smooth Outdoor Feel – Every Spinner bike model uses a 43-pound perimeter weighted flywheel, and real road bike geometry to give each bike a signature feel that more closely matches the fluidity of outdoor cycling.

“Our collaboration with Precor was not limited to improving the indoor bikes themselves, but also the overall Spinning experience,” said John Baudhuin, CEO of Mad Dogg Athletics. “To support this new line of indoor bikes, we have also greatly enhanced the Spinning programs and education experience to give operators the support and tools they need to attract new members, create secondary revenue streams and differentiate their facility with Spinning classes, teacher trainings, and more.”

The Spinner Rally is available now, and the Spinner Ride and Spinner Shift will be available in March and April 2016, respectively.
