SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Netpulse, a provider of branded club mobile apps, announced the opening of an international office in London. It will be led by fitness industry veteran Alex Peacock, formerly Managing Director at Zoom Media. Peacock will join the Netpulse leadership team as Vice President, International.

Peacock’s background in the European fitness industry includes leading Zoom Media’s development as a market leader in digital fitness media in the U.K. and Germany. Prior to Zoom Media, Peacock established Music Marketing Services as the U.K.’s largest provider of audio visual systems to the fitness industry before joining Amer Sports in 2005 to head up sales and distribution across Europe, Middle East and Africa for their newly acquired ClubCom and Cardio Theater brands.

“The demands of Europe’s most innovative operators are perfectly aligned with Netpulse’s mobile offering,” said John Gengarella, CEO of Netpulse. “Alex’s expertise is exactly what we need to bring our mobile platform to thousands of European clubs in the next year.”

As part of this global expansion, Netpulse will be launching mobile and connected cardio products in Europe, particularly in the U.K. and Germany. This will include growing the company’s best-in-class customer service team, based in the U.K. office.

“I’ve seen how impactful the Netpulse platform has been for U.S. fitness organizations,” said Peacock. “I’m confident we will deliver the same member engagement and revenue driving mobile solutions to European clubs as well.”

In addition to offering the leading digital platform for club mobile apps to European operators, Netpulse will also be partnering with Zoom Media in the U.K. to deliver new advertising products to Zoom’s enterprise customer base through their mobile and cardio solutions.
