TORONTO, ON – Merrithew, a global leader in mind-body education and equipment, has partnered with AUSactive, Australia’s peak health and exercise industry association, to meet the country’s growing demand for its world-class Pilates education and premium equipment.
This alliance allows Merrithew to expand its presence and provide greater support to its existing Australian community of eight Merrithew Host Training Centers (HTCs), five Instructor Trainers and thousands of students trained in STOTT PILATES® and Merrithew’s other education modalities. By joining forces with AUSactive, Merrithew will be able to reach and train the highest-caliber fitness professionals in its innovative mind-body modalities to better serve the more than a million Australians who practice Pilates every year.
Merrithew’s students, partners and instructors who are also AUSactive members will benefit from this partnership in numerous ways. Merrithew workshops and courses will now count towards their AUSactive Continuing Education Credit requirements; Merrithew Host Training Centers will be able to call themselves AUSactive Education Providers, raising their profile nationally; AUSactive members will receive access to relevant industry resources, networking opportunities, monthly webinars and seminars, and discounted rates on CPR and First Aid training. AUSactive also supports professionals with international qualifications get recognized and assists Australian fitness professionals connect with employment overseas.
