COTTAGE GROVE, WI – Matrix Fitness returns to the IHRSA Convention and Tradeshow ready to engage attendees with a high-energy booth presence. The fastest-growing commercial fitness brand will feature newly released offerings ranging from new programming designed around high-intensity interval training to noise-reducing platforms and much more. Show attendees and members of the media are invited to meet with Matrix (Booth 813) at IHRSA 2022, June 22-24 in Miami Beach, Florida at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Matrix will highlight a variety of new-to-market offerings and updated technologies at IHRSA’s 41st show, including:

  • Sprint 8 GX – Show attendees can be the first to see the new Sprint 8 GX programming in action. Sprint 8 GX is an instructor-led, group experience that uses the established and proven Sprint 8 workout pre-programmed on Matrix cardio consoles. Combined with a unique strength and condition component, Sprint 8 GX helps facilities retain and engage members while setting themselves apart.
  • Magnum VRS Platforms – Facility owners and operators looking to reduce noise on the strength floor will have the chance to experience a Vibration Reduction System (VRS) Platform. Ideal for multi-level facilities, the proprietary blend of sound- and vibration-dampening foam with a topcoat of rubber dissipates energy produced during heavy lifts. Attendees that perform Olympic lifts on the impact-absorbing platforms will notice a 67% reduction in bounce height, which also protects floors, bars, weights, and plates from premature wear and tear.
  • Connected Solutions – Matrix representatives will be available to demonstrate the features of two reintroduced member engagement platforms — Community 360 and Engage 360 — on consoles, tablets and mobile devices. The Community 360 mobile app helps facility owners build, strengthen and grow their communities by connecting with members wherever they exercise. Via the Engage 360 complementary platform, facility staff can send daily workouts to their entire membership, develop specialized training programs for individuals or certain groups of members and monitor member engagement to make sure they keep coming back for more. The Connected Solutions area will also feature a list of their integration partners that are prominent in the fitness technology space.
  • Learning Opportunities – In addition to introducing new products, Matrix will also present keynote speaker Liz Bohannon, founder and CEO of Sseko Designs, who will share the lessons learned from growing Sseko into an international fashion brand from humble beginnings. The presentation will be held Friday, June 24th at 8:30 AM. Finally, Dr. Karlie Intlekofer, Ph.D., global wellness researcher for Matrix, will be presenting alongside Dr. Cassandra Vieten, Ph.D. and Victor Brick of the John W. Brick Mental Health Foundation in an interactive education session titled Emphasizing the Impact of Exercise on Mental Health. The above panelists will provide guidance on boosting member engagement with mental well-being at the forefront on Wednesday, June 22 at 2:00 PM.

“The IHRSA Convention is an ideal opportunity to immerse ourselves with the fitness world and connect with new and long-time partners,” said Mark Zabel, Global Chief Marketing Officer and President, US Commercial Division. “We are extremely proud of the initiatives being elevated in the fitness industry right now, especially mental health advocacy. Understanding the relationship between exercise and mental health can make a life-changing impact in communities worldwide, and we are honored to provide tools and solutions that can be an integral driver of that change.”
