Matrix Fitness Presents New Innovative Exercise Solutions at IHRSA 2018

COTTAGE GROVE, WI – Matrix Fitness is set to make a major impact at IHRSA 2018, launching groundbreaking new products in every major category, highlighting a new goal-centric approach to technology and providing a variety of live demonstrations, interactive experiences and more. Show attendees and members of the media are invited to meet with Matrix at IHRSA 2018, which takes place March 21 – 24 at the San Diego Convention Center.

“At this year’s show, we’re proud to be able to bring something new to every aspect of the exercise experience with focused and targeted solutions for our customers,” said Mark Zabel, Global Chief Marketing Officer and President of the US Commercial Division at Matrix. “That means new offerings for cardio and strength, plus a major emphasis on group training and technology.”

Matrix will highlight a variety of new-to-market products and updated technologies at this year’s show, including:

  • Training Cycles – Matrix is launching a new series of Training Cycles to help fitness facilities attract more riders to group cycling classes. Club owners can choose the CXC Training Cycle for the feel of a real outdoor ride, the CXM Training Cycle for enhanced metric tracking or the CXP Target Training Cycle for a unique display that uses vibrant color to gauge effort. This new series is set to redefine cycling class in a way that appeals to both serious cycling enthusiasts and members looking for an exciting group exercise experience.
  • Ultra Series with Intelligent Training Console – Show attendees can get a sneak peek of redesigned Ultra Series strength equipment, now able to accommodate the new Intelligent Training Console from Matrix. This intuitive interface sets fitness facilities apart with a guided, fully connected strength training experience that helps newcomers get started and enthusiast who have plateaued continue to progress.
  • Matrix Connected Solutions – A newly positioned technology offering called Matrix Connected Solutions provides a complete digital ecosystem that gives club owners the flexibility they need to accomplish their specific goals. A variety of powerful hardware and software solutions enhance every aspect of the exercise experience for club owners, trainers, end users and service technicians, helping fitness facilities increase retention, build engagement, enhance differentiation, maximize ROI, boost revenue and improve acquisition of new members. Show attendees will have the opportunity to tour the complete suite of integrated technology at the Connected Solutions Pavilion in Matrix booth 2505.
  • Connexus Functional Training System Expansion – The popular Connexus Functional Training System is expanding with Connexus Compact, Connexus Column, Connexus Step+ and a new Connexus Storage System. The new modules provide the versatile performance that functional training enthusiasts love about the Connexus collection in efficient new designs that help club owners take advantage of unused space.

“As an industry leader in group training and technology, we’re excited to present new products like our Training Cycles and our S-Force Performance Trainer and new solutions like Intelligent Training Console and Matrix Connected Solutions,” said Zabel. “Not only will they help clubs retain members at a higher rate, they’ll also provide exciting ways to tap new revenue streams.”

In addition to introducing new products, Matrix will hold a variety of live events in booth 2505. Speed coach and Sprint 8 creator Phil Campbell will teach trainers how to use his original Speed Technique Protocol in coordination with the S-Drive and S-Force Performance Trainers to augment explosiveness at takeoff. Target Training demonstrations will show how the new Training Cycles and colorful target training programming combine to create cycling classes with broad appeal. Matrix will also provide demonstrations of their popular MX4 Training System, so owners and trainers can see how the combination of exclusive training tools and original programming can help them attract and retain more members.
