COTTAGE GROVE, WI – Matrix Fitness, one of the world’s fastest-growing commercial fitness brands, has announced a multi-phase integration partnership with Myzone, a leading wearable technology solution in the fitness industry. The first phase of the partnership seamlessly integrates Myzone heart rate devices with Matrix Touch and Touch XL consoles and the new Virtual Training Cycle.

The new partnership enables Myzone users who pair their device the ability to view and track their color zone, heart rate, percentage of their maximum heart rate (MHR), Myzone Effort Points (MEPs) and calories burned in the user feedback panel on the consoles. Workout data is then displayed after a workout and saved directly to the Myzone app for workout tracking and MEPs accumulation.

“At Matrix, we’re continuing to expand our integrations to meet our customers and their members where they’re at and provide the best user experience,” says Scott Williams, Product Manager, Console Technology for Johnson Health Tech. “The partnership and integration between Matrix and Myzone blend best-in-class fitness equipment with industry leading heart rate wearables and technology to provide our mutual users with a more personalized exercise experience. As our partnership with Myzone continues to grow, so do our plans to build compelling, robust features through close collaboration.”

“Our goal at Myzone is to provide operators with tech solutions that are both simple and engaging to maximize their member experience,” said Nick Beale, Vice President of Customer Experience for Myzone. “Our integration with Matrix is key to delivering on that goal and further reinforces Myzone as the standard for real-time, intensity-based feedback.”

This first phase of the integration will be available on connected, Matrix Touch and Touch XL consoles and the Virtual Training Cycle with a software update that was distributed at the end of September.
