COTTAGE GROVE, WI – Matrix Fitness, one of the world’s fastest-growing commercial fitness brands, has announced an integration partnership with Ecofit Networks, a leading Internet of Things (IoT) solution provider. The new partnership enables equipment reporting from any connected Matrix fitness equipment into Ecofit’s asset management system. The cloud-based integration was effective as of May 1, 2021 to all existing and new Matrix customers by purchasing and subscribing to the Ecofit Connected service and then simply configuring their machines on site.

“At Matrix, our approach to technology is centered around a robust, open platform,” says Andrew Kolman, Senior Director of Technology and Business Development for Johnson Health Tech. “Our partnership with Ecofit reinforces our commitment to meet our customers where they’re at. By integrating with Ecofit, commercial facilities can access industry-leading insights and analytics that are fueled by Matrix equipment data.”

The Ecofit Connected platform collects data from connected cardio and strength equipment across multiple brands to create a 360-degree view of equipment usage. Facility operators can access automated reports, view alerts that allow them to repair and maintain equipment more efficiently, determine the perfect mix of equipment on the floor and make informed purchasing decisions.

“We’re excited to include Matrix as a partner to further simplify asset management by optimizing floor space, targeting service efficiencies, maximizing equipment ROI and improving member satisfaction,” said Dave Johnson, co-founder of Ecofit. “As facilities offer multiple products across several brands, the Ecofit Connected platform can provide a consistent and holistic view of their machines through one common user experience.”

Ecofit is compatible with all WiFi-enabled Matrix consoles including cardio and strength. No additional hardware is necessary.
