Life Fitness Closes Sale of the Assets of Brunswick Billiards To Escalade Inc.

FRANKLIN PARK, IL – Life Fitness, a global leader in commercial fitness equipment, announces the completion of its sale of the assets of Brunswick Billiards, to Escalade Inc., a publicly traded manufacturer of consumer sporting goods and recreational products headquartered in Evansville, Indiana.
“With the completion of the sale of Brunswick Billiards, Life Fitness will be able to focus single-mindedly on building our core fitness business. The proceeds of this sale are earmarked for investment in our R&D, connected fitness and supply chain,” said Paul Stoneham, CEO of Life Fitness. “On behalf of the company, we would like to thank all the employees of Brunswick Billiards for their many contributions over the years, and we wish them, along with Escalade Inc., the very best for the future.”
Brunswick Billiards will continue to be based in Bristol, Wisconsin and led by John Kazik, General Manager, with the support of the Billiards employee team, who will also transfer with the business to Escalade.
