COTTAGE GROVE, WI – Johnson Health Tech (JHT) has announced their acquisition of Matrix Fitness South Africa, a distributor for JHT prior to the acquisition, becoming the first fitness equipment company to have a wholly-owned subsidiary in Africa. John Frayne, former Director of Matrix Fitness South Africa for the last 12 years, was named Managing Director of the new JHT-SA office. With 25 years of experience in the financial sector prior to running the Matrix Fitness office, Frayne had the business acumen to achieve high sales growth and brand awareness for JHT across the largest fitness market in Africa.

Kyle Millroy also joins the JHT-SA team as Vice President of Sales for Southern Africa. Born and raised in South Africa, Millroy’s career path led him to the Benelux where he honed his international marketing, sales and business development skills before beginning his fitness career at Life Fitness 10 years ago.
