Hammer Strength Celebrates 25 Years of Performance Clinics

ROSEMONT, IL – Hammer Strength, a foremost strength training equipment line, hosted a strength training clinic from May 19 – 20 in Cincinnati, where the brand and its storied clinics were forged to celebrate 25 years of bringing athletic training and education to the athletic community.
The 2017 Midwest Regional Elite Hammer Strength Clinic – Special 25th Anniversary Edition is one of 10 regional clinics Hammer Strength is hosting across the United States and Canada this year, and it featured an impressive lineup of coaches, players and attendees to continue Hammer Strength’s legacy of promoting training and education within the athletic community.
“These clinics have become more than I ever imagined,” said Gary A. Jones, Founding Inventor of Hammer Strength. “Hands-on sharing of real ideas and tested techniques that help build real champions. We knew it then, and we know it now…bringing together the athletic community for a fun and educational sharing event is amazing.”
The two-day Midwest Regional Elite Clinic was bigger than ever, boasting more than 100 coach attendees from throughout the Midwest and a strong lineup of 13 event speakers, who covered sports performance, strength training techniques and fitness program tips, guidance, advice and more. These included:
- Mickey Marotti, assistant athletic director for football sports performance, The Ohio State University;
- Brady Collins, director of football sports performance, University of Cincinnati;
- Chip Morton, head strength & conditioning coach, Cincinnati Bengals;
- Joe Kenn, head strength & conditioning coach, Carolina Panthers;
- Dr. Ted Lambrinides, sports science consultant, NFL Player Tracking Program; and
- Other strength and conditioning directors, coaches and coordinators from University of Nebraska, East Tennessee State University, West Virginia University and Noblesville (IN) High School, as well as representatives from IMG Academy and MJP Performance.
