ECORE International Receives Well Workplace Award

LANCASTER, PA – ECORE, a company that transforms reclaimed waste into unique performance surfacing, recently received a Platinum Well Workplace Award from the Lancaster Health Summit in Lancaster, PA. The Well Workplace award recognizes successful wellness initiatives of local companies that strive to improve the health and wellbeing of their employees. The Platinum award is given to the organization that “represents the pinnacle of result-oriented worksite wellness programming.”
“As a company that is focused on making people’s lives better, Ecore rose to meet this challenge,” said Arthur Dodge, III, President and CEO of Ecore. “By incorporating healthy initiatives, such as our Be Fit Movement, we have made a concerted effort to develop and maintain a wellness-driven workplace that connects personal health to business goals.”
Ecore defines safety, health, and wellness as its most important Organizational Core Value. Ecore developed the Be Fit Movement in 2014 in response to this and it represents a petition for wellness. “By having employees sign up to be a part of the Be Fit Movement and then participating in various fitness challenges throughout the year, we are demonstrating Ecore’s commitment to personal health and wellness,” said Dodge. “We encourage our customers, partners, vendors, friends, and family to join the Be Fit Movement as well.”
