American Council on Exercise Welcomes Two New Executives

SAN DIEGO, CA – The American Council on Exercise (ACE) announces two new Executive Team members, Chris Goudeseune has been promoted to Vice President of Operations, and Lauren Shroyer MS, ATC, has been promoted to Vice President of Product and Innovation.

“We are thrilled to have both Chris and Lauren on the ACE Executive Team,” said Cedric X. Bryant, ACE president and chief science officer. “Each individual brings a myriad of expertise and knowledge to ACE and will be essential to helping ACE grow and fulfill our mission.”

As the Vice President of Operations, Goudeseune is responsible for cultivating operational alignment for strategic initiatives and key projects within ACE. He will work collaboratively with department leaders to ensure organizational projects and strategic initiatives are executed efficiently and to plan.?Goudeseune was promoted from Senior Director of Operations and has worked at ACE for more than a decade.

“In this new role I am excited to enhance ACE’s organizational processes and procedures,” said Goudeseune. “Through this work, it is my hope that ACE can grow in efficiency and even better support our exercise professionals and health coaches who play a central role in helping us achieve our mission.”

In her role as the Vice President of Product and Innovation, Shroyer will drive ACE’s product creation and development. From conceptualization to execution, Shroyer will guide a team of experts in designing and managing ACE products and programs both live and online. Additionally, Shroyer will ensure that all of ACE’s products align with the highest professional credentialing and continuing education standards and practices. Shroyer was promoted from Senior Director of Product Development.
