ACE Announces its 2026 Scientific Advisory Panel

SAN DIEGO, CA – The American Council on Exercise (ACE) announces the members of its 2026 Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP). SAP members serve as key advisors to ACE on emerging and trending health and exercise topics based on their research or current practice in the field. They also play a key role in helping ACE share evidence-based information with health and exercise professionals and the public.

“Our Scientific Advisory Panel provides ACE with valuable research insight and on-the-ground expertise,” said Sabrena Jo, PhD, ACE Senior Director of Science and Education. “Through their acumen and experience, ACE is able to help educate exercise and health professionals and the public with expert advice.”

The 2026 ACE Scientific Advisory Panel Members include:

  • Dominique Adair, MS, RD, private practice nutrition and fitness advisor;
  • Lance C. Dalleck, PhD, Department of Exercise and Sport Science Assistant Professor at Western State Colorado University;
  • Gregory Degnan, MD, Medical Director, Orthopedic Surgeon, and Adjunct Professor;
  • Avery Faigenbaum, EdD, Department of Health and Exercise Science Full Professor at the College of New Jersey;
  • Michael Hosking, PhD, Creator of Revocycle Mind and Body Cycling/Education;
  • Erin Nitschke, EdD, Dean, Workforce Innovation and Curriculum, Lionel University;
  • Rachelle Reed, PhD, MS, ACSM-EP, Head of Scientific Research & Science Communication at Therabody;
  • Renee J. Rogers, PhD, FACSM, FTOS, bio-behavioral obesity and activity researcher, University of Kansas;
  • Alison Steiber, PhD, Chief Mission, Impact, and Strategy Officer at Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics;
  • Ted Vickey, PhD, fitness AI technology.
