YogaFit Studios Makes First Global Expansion with Entry Into Mexico

CHANHASSEN, MN – YogaFit Studios is going international. The company announces its first global expansion with the announcement of a master franchise agreement in Mexico with Fitwell, a company that manages wellness franchise concepts Orangetheory, 9Round and Bienesta. Plans are underway for eight studios to be up and running by the end of the year, with 70 planned by 2027.
“Signing a master franchise agreement is a big accomplishment,” said Peter Taunton, Lift Brands founder and CEO. “We always envisioned taking YogaFit Studios around the world and Mexico is a wonderful place to start. This franchise agreement with Fitwell shows that there’s a demand out there, which we intend to fill.”
The excitement is shared by YogaFit’s partner, Jose Miguel Ramos of Fitwell. Ramos is eager to incorporate YogaFit Studios as a complement to his portfolio, with the idea to create a national brand of yoga that does not currently exist in the country of Mexico.
