VASA Fitness to Open Three New Clubs In High-Growth Markets In March 2021

DENVER, CO – VASA Fitness has announced plans to open three new clubs in March in high-growth markets where its fitness brand is already very strong. VASA will open brand new clubs and celebrate with safe grand opening events in Phoenix, Arizona on March 1, Herriman, Utah on March 13 and Westminster, Colorado on March 15.
“Although VASA’s 2020 expansion plans were halted due to the pandemic, we are excited to be strengthening our fitness community in markets where our brand is already very strong and experiencing rapid growth,” said Mindi Bridges, Chief Brand and Marketing Officer at VASA Fitness. “Introducing the new clubs to these communities just offers more opportunity for our current and future members in these regions to access affordable fitness during the pandemic when it’s of utmost importance to take care of both our physical and mental health.”
As it continues to serve its members with innovative fitness offerings that are on trend and meet them where they are in their fitness journey, VASA is taking the opportunity to pilot a new mind/body program at its new Westminster, Colorado location called Studio Flow. Studio Flow is not a typical hot yoga class. The beautifully designed studio uses infrared panels that heat the body from within versus the air in the room. Some of the benefits of infrared heat include detoxification, pain relief, decreased muscle tension, enhanced relaxation and improved circulation. The Studio Flow pilot program is coming later this year.
The public is invited to attend the grand opening events to learn more about what makes VASA unique in the fitness industry and to experience the club with a free one-day pass at its grand opening events in March. The celebrations will feature live music, free snacks, gym tours and free workouts in a very safe environment where all COVID-19 precautions will be followed. VASA will be hosting a free raffle for a fitness bike that is open to all grand opening attendees as well.
Grand opening events are scheduled for:
- Monday, March 1 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Phoenix, Arizona, 8021 N 35th Avenue;
- Saturday, March 13 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Herriman, Utah, 13366 S 5600 W Herriman;
- Monday, March 15 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Westminster, Colorado, 7353 Federal Blvd.
Each of the new 60,000 square-foot VASA locations is being built in phases. Each club will initially include Group Fitness classes, Studio Red (HIIT) classes, Studio Cycle classes, a training cage, functional training areas, a free weights area, Olympic lifting, an expansive cardio deck and retail area. Then a phase two buildout later this year will include a large lap pool, spa, steam and sauna, hydro-massage lounge, basketball court, and KidCare once it is safe for kids. The Westminster, CO location will also include Studio Flow in phase two. Because not all amenities will be available right away, VASA will only be charging members $21.99 for the full range of amenities upon opening.
