DENVER, CO and OREM, UT – VASA Fitness announces closure of all 45 of its clubs to ensure the safety of all staff and members during the rapidly evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Clubs will remain closed until further notice, and VASA will provide regular correspondence through e-mail, social media, website updates and text messaging to keep members informed when new information is available.

Since COVID-19’s first known arrival in the U.S., VASA Fitness has taken significant precautions in accordance with the Centers of Disease Control to keep its members and employees protected and has followed strict guidelines as the pandemic evolved.

“With the health and wellness of our community at the core of everything we do, we believe closing all VASA Fitness locations proactively is the right move,” said Rich Nelsen, Chief Executive Officer of VASA Fitness. “We made this tough decision based on guidance from medical experts and state and federal officials that have put in place measures for social distancing and group activities to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. Together, we can make a big difference in helping our most vulnerable populations remain safe.”
