IRVINE, CA – StretchLab, a leading assisted stretching studio, announced it has recently signed its 500th franchise agreement and opened its 150th studio this month. In 2021, the company opened 52 locations and secured over 270 franchise agreements, illustrating the growth and continued demand for assisted stretching, especially following the pandemic which has encouraged millions of people to better prioritize their health and wellness. The newly signed agreements will expand StretchLab’s reach to cities all across the U.S., including Washington D.C., Fargo, Charleston, Colorado Springs and Miami, among others. A deal was also signed to develop a location in Vancouver, which will mark StretchLab’s second Canadian studio to debut in the market.

“We are so excited to see that assisted stretching is becoming a mainstream part of the boutique wellness space, as evidenced by our many openings in 2021 and hundreds of studios in development,” said Lou DeFrancisco, President of StretchLab. “It is so wonderful that people are prioritizing their wellness and recognizing that assisted stretching is truly beneficial for all ages, body types and fitness levels. We are honored to be involved in not only their health and wellness journeys, but the entrepreneurial journeys of our more than 200 owners across the U.S. and Canada as well.”
