COLTS NECK, N.J. – Just in time for the start of baseball season, Retro Fitness is now the Official Fitness Center of the New York Yankees. In this multi-year partnership, Retro Fitness receives logo-usage, player appearances, game tickets and contests to win unique experiences at Yankee Stadium for its members and more.

“Although Retro Fitness is spreading rapidly across the country, its roots are in the Tri-State area,” said Bryan Calka, Vice President of Partnerships for the New York Yankees. “This exciting partnership brings together two passionate, dedicated organizations that share a deep dedication to loyalty and success.”

Retro Fitness members in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, will soon have the opportunity to enter a contest offering game tickets and access to watch batting practice on the field of Yankee Stadium prior to a game. Through the partnership, the national fitness franchise will also receive player appearances for company events, in-stadium signage, the right to use the Yankees’ logo on printed materials in the Tri-State area and the right to use the Yankees’ logo anywhere online.

“With 85 percent of our clubs in the Tri-State area and the Yankees’ passionate fanbase that overlaps that region, the partnership was an ideal fit,” said Scott Breault, Chief Brand Officer of Retro Fitness. “The Yankees are a world-class organization and an iconic global brand. There is a lot of excitement surrounding the team that will provide opportunities for Retro Fitness to reach new and larger audiences with our mission and message of providing a customized fitness experience for our members.”

Breault also noted the synergies between Retro Fitness members and the Yankee fan base.

“Yankees fans are passionate and loyal. They understand the season is a long grind, and they expect results in exchange for their physical and emotional devotion. Retro Fitness members are innately similar – you have to be equally passionate about any fitness journey and put in a long-term commitment to improve your results.”
