Planet Fitness Rings In The New Year As The Official Fitness Sponsor Of Times Square’s New Year’s Eve Celebration

NEWINGTON, NH – Planet Fitness, the innovative health club franchise known for its Judgement Free Zone and affordable prices, is joining the biggest party of the year, Times Square’s New Year’s Eve celebration. As the official fitness sponsor of the event, 25,000 spectators in Times Square will receive Planet Fitness-branded mittens to keep their hands warm during the final countdown to the New Year. The brand will also be featured on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2015,” with show co-host Jenny McCarthy leading the crowd in a special Planet Fitness New Year’s Eve cheer to be featured on air.
In anticipation of the big night, Planet Fitness will launch a Twitter voting campaign that invites consumers to use #PlanetAnythingsPossible to vote on lines to be included in the cheer led by Jenny McCarthy in Times Square. Participants who vote on their favorite cheer line between December 18th and December 29th will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a PF Black Card® membership for themselves and a friend. The “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2015″ bi-coastal celebration will include hours of special performances and reports on New Year’s Eve celebrations from around the globe. The Times Square New Year’s Eve Celebration is broadcast to viewers and can be seen LIVE on ABC at 8pm ET/PT.
