Planet Fitness Opens New Location in Downtown Boston

BOSTON, MA – Planet Fitness, the innovative health club franchise known for its Judgement Free Zone and affordable prices, announced the opening of its newest club in downtown Boston. The new corporately owned location is located at 17 Winter Street near Downtown Crossing.
A grand opening party will be held on Thursday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. with Mix 104.1, Boston’s Best Variety. Additionally, to celebrate the grand opening, the public is welcome to enter for the chance to win a grand prize trip to Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa in Puerto Rico, among other prizes, by sharing their personal “Fitness Triumph.”
Now through April 30, people can join for just $1 down and then $10 a month with no commitment. The new Boston club spans three floors and is approximately 21,500 sq. ft. It offers brand-name machines and strength equipment, circuit training, fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, numerous flat screen televisions, HydroMassage beds, massage chairs, tanning, and a Total Body Enhancement booth.
