BALTIMORE, MD – PF Growth Partners, LLC, an award-winning franchise division of Planet Fitness, is going global.

The Timonium, Maryland-based company is one of three partners in Bravo Fit Holdings Pty Ltd. that recently entered into an area development agreement with Planet Fitness to bring a minimum of 35 Planet Fitness clubs to Australia over the next several years.

Its other associates in the venture are U.S. franchisee, Bravo Fit, LLC, and Galactic Fitness Pty, which is owned and operated by leading Australian fitness operator, Dallas Rosekelly.

According to Victor Brick, co-owner of PF Growth Partners, the franchisees are excited to bring Planet Fitness’ Judgement Free Zone “down under.”

“Australia’s fitness market is a very sophisticated market; however, there is no Judgement Free model in Australia,” said Brick. “As home of the Judgement Free Zone, Planet Fitness caters to casual or first-time gym goers, including the other 85 percent of the Australian population that does not belong to a gym.”

“We see this as an opportunity to change people’s lives across an entire country and continent by bringing them a Judgement Free concept,” he added.

Planet Fitness, the nation’s largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers, offers a high-quality fitness experience for extremely affordable prices. It’s always staffed and members can enjoy a variety of benefits such as a welcoming, non-intimidating environment; brand name cardio and strength equipment, and fully equipped locker rooms.

The Planet Fitness Black Card membership includes additional perks, such as access to any club at no additional charge, the ability to bring a guest anytime and amenities like unlimited use of massage chairs, HydroMassage beds and more.

Brick and his wife, Lynne are international fitness experts who became one of the first Planet Fitness franchisees in 2007. With 1,250 employees, they currently own and operate 31 Planet Fitness health clubs in Maryland and the District of Columbia, in addition to 35 clubs in Tennessee, Florida and the State of Washington.

“We look forward to getting Australians moving, involved in fitness and taking care of themselves—who prior to us coming, didn’t think they could afford it, know how to do it, or have an environment in which they could do it,” Brick said.
