Gold’s Gym Signs Franchise Agreement to Expand Presence in Nashville Area

DALLAS, TX – Gold’s Gym, a trusted authority on health and fitness, announced Tennessee Fitness LLC has signed a franchise agreement to bring five additional Gold’s Gym locations to Middle Tennessee. Owned by Robert Dennis, Andrew Davis and John Davis, Tennessee Fitness LLC currently owns and operates seven locations throughout the market in Murfreesboro, Henderson, Smyrna, Bellevue and Clarksville. The new locations will be opening throughout five counties in the Middle Tennessee region, including Wilson, Davidson and Williamson.
The signing of the Nashville area franchise agreement is a continuation of Gold’s Gym’s aggressive expansion plans, both domestically and internationally. With 18 new locations opened in the first quarter of this year, Gold’s Gym plans to continue its development and expansion in states such as New York, Texas and California, as well as countries including Jordan, Egypt, India, Japan, Morocco and Saudi Arabia.

Brothers Andrew and John Davis had their first Gold’s Gym experience in their home state of Alabama. Impressed by the brand, they decided to look into franchise ownership. At the time, Robert Dennis was working independently for Gold’s Gym as a real estate broker and assisting Andrew and John with finding their first location. Robert had plans to open his own franchise, but recognized his business views aligned with the Davis brothers, and decided to enter into a partnership.
