PENSACOLA, FL – REGYMEN Fitness announces the majority sale of the business to global fitness pioneer David “Patch” Patchell-Evans. Patch is a Canadian fitness entrepreneur with nearly 50 years of experience building and growing some of the world’s top fitness brands. Over the past five years Patch and his flagship company GoodLife Fitness have partnered with REGYMEN to integrate the boutique studio within 12 of his clubs in Canada with plans to continue to grow in this market. After seeing success in this partnership, Patch has expanded his role in REGYMEN to become the majority owner.

“Patch’s involvement in REGYMEN is a game changer,” said Leah Seacrest, REGYMEN’s Vice President of Franchising, “He is one of the top leaders in the fitness industry and brings an entirely new set of skills and resources to help us to continue to grow the brand.”

Patch is very familiar with the fitness franchise segment, supporting the accelerated growth of Oxygen Yoga & Fitness, which has now exceeded 130 locations across North America. He expects to see similar growth of the REGYMEN Fitness brand.

“The franchise model is turn-key and is supported by a strong team of industry professionals that are focused on helping franchisees grow their business both here in the US and internationally,” says Patch, “a REGYMEN franchise costs less to build than comparable models, and it is a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs looking for a solid investment opportunity; I’m very happy to share that REGYMEN is open for business.”

REGYMEN Fitness is a high-intensity group fitness studio franchise that delivers results – for both members and owners. The multi-platform fitness programs feature high-energy offerings backed by exercise science and takes the form of two signature workouts: BURN and BUILD.

REGYMEN currently has 23 studios: six franchises, one corporate store, four licensed stores and 12 integrated within GoodLife Fitness clubs. This new ownership is expected to help grow the franchisee base and introduce REGYMEN into more communities across the United States and around the world. Each unit is roughly 2500 sqft. as a standalone location or can be successfully integrated inside existing fitness clubs using a square footage of 1500-2000.
