Genesis Health Clubs Acquires Milestone 60th Location and Doubles Down on Tennis in Kansas City

LIBERTY, MO – Genesis Health Clubs announces the purchase of Clayview Country Club in Liberty, Missouri. The club, now known as Genesis Health Clubs – Clayview, is the company’s 60th location. It features an 8-lane, 25-meter outdoor swimming pool, which features a seasonal, climate-controlled structure, that enables year-round swimming. The club also includes a fitness area, two indoor pickleball courts, and eight indoor and four outdoor tennis courts.
Genesis Health Clubs Owner/President Rodney Steven II reflected on the impact of Genesis’ growing tennis presence in the Kansas City area. “Tennis is so core to what we do. In nearly all of our cities, we operate tennis facilities that act as a hub, spreading health and fitness through the community. We’ve invested heavily in that with our recently remodeled Overland Park and Kansas City Racquet Club locations, but we’ve been looking for a way to bring tennis to North Kansas City, and we’ve found that with Clayview.”
Steven continued, “Finally, we’re able to have a world-class tennis program close enough for anyone in Kansas City to enjoy. It’s a game for life, and Kansas City now has more options than ever.”
