TULSA, OK – Genesis Health Clubs announces the acquisition of RH91 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, effective immediately. The club, now known as Genesis Health Clubs – Riverside, represents the 64th in the ever-growing Genesis portfolio, and its 19th tennis facility.

Genesis Health Clubs Owner and President Rodney Steven II expressed enthusiasm: “We have the 4 best health and fitness facilities in Tulsa and now the best tennis facility as well. Ever since we first came to Tulsa in 2016, we knew that RH91, or The Grand, as it was known at the time, was perfect for us. It’s a great facility with community and history, and fits the Genesis model of having a world-class tennis facility in every city perfectly.”

When asked about plans for the facility, Steven continued, “Genesis typically owns its facilities, and thankfully, that is the case with the Riverside club. This lets us really go all-in with remodeling and improvements, and we’re already busy drawing up our plans. Just like our tennis clubs in places like Overland Park, Wichita, and Omaha, this will be something special. It’s time to get excited!”

The transition to Genesis allows former RH91 members immediate access to Genesis’ other four Tulsa-area facilities, South Tulsa, Midtown Tulsa, Broken Arrow, and Woodland Hills, at no extra charge, along with over 60 other locations across the nation. Memberships will continue seamlessly with no interruptions or price increases and members will gain access to new amenities such as steam rooms, dry saunas, luxury locker rooms, Pilates studios, and much more.

Hank Pellegrini, Owner of RH91, which owned the club remarked, “We’re so proud of what we accomplished here and the community we built over the years.”
Pellegrini, whose family has been involved in Tennis and the community for years here in Tulsa, “It’s important for us to pass this club along to someone who knows fitness and tennis, and understands how to run world-class facilities. We couldn’t be happier to pass the torch to Genesis Health Clubs.”

Steven concluded, “It’s a win-win. RH91 members get access to so many more clubs, we continue our investment in fitness in Tulsa, and the sport of tennis continues to grow and thrive. We can’t wait for what’s next!”
