Fitness Premier 24/7 Hosts Annual Summit to Collaborate and Celebrate Brand Wins

ILLINOIS – Fitness Premier 24/7 Clubs, an 18-unit emerging gym franchise, held its fourth Annual Fitness Premier Summit in early December, allowing brand executives, owners and operators to come together for a collaborative two-day event. The conference took place December 1 – 2 in New Buffalo, Michigan, and included dozens of key players from the Fitness Premier system and parent company Fit For You Franchising.
“Our annual leadership summit is a great chance for us to collaborate, connect and ensure we’re aligned with management teams throughout the network,” said Jason Markowicz,
CEO. “We really make sure it’s a healthy balance of learning, challenging each other and fun throughout the two-day session. We reflected on and celebrated many wins we had in 2022 and brainstormed on all the areas of focus going into 2023. We’re very fortunate to be surrounded by such great people.”
The summit was attended by 42 individuals within the brand, many of whom had a chance to meet for the first time and share success stories and best practices. There were also two guest speakers present: Jake Thompson from Compete Every Day, who spoke on “controlling the controllables,” and Sumeet Chahal from Culture Index, who gave a presentation on the new hiring and management tool that the brand has adopted.
“I really enjoyed the keynote speakers. The presentation on Culture Index was really enlightening. Jake Thompson’s presentation was very motivational and gave me a new spark as I went back into my club,” said one Fitness Premier franchise owner.
Throughout the conference, participants attended workshop groups that focused on growing and developing the business, implementing entrepreneurial operation systems (EOS) at club locations, and what Fitness Premier 24/7 Clubs’ goals and top action points are for 2023.
An awards ceremony also took place at the event, where instrumental figures within the franchise were recognized for their milestones and achievements throughout the year:
- Rookie of the Year — Keegan Mraz of Manteno, Illinois;
- Manager/Operator of the Year — Alexis Knake of Mahomet/Champaign;
- Cornerstone Award — Dana Odegaard of Minooka, Illinois;
- MVP Award – Kristina Scardine of the Corporate Office;
- Trainers of the Year – Lindsay Pearl of Plainfield, Joshua James of Champaign, Jackie Schweigert of Champaign;
- Hustlers of the Year –Keegan Mraz of Manteno and Alexis Knake of Mahomet.
Fitness Premier also celebrated a number of locations receiving Club Revenue Awards, with Minooka reaching an impressive $1 million to earn entry into the “$1 Million Dollar Club,” Manteno hitting $750,000, and Crete, Mahomet, Bourbonnais, Cedar Lake, Coal City and Champaign all being inducted into the “$500k Club.”
