BOZEMAN, MT – Fitness Premier 24/7 Clubs, the full-service fitness franchise, is making its Montana debut. Local gym owners Eddie Davila and Chase Isle, founders of Urban Fitness, are converting their facility, located at 96 Laura Louise Lane, Bozeman, Montana 59718, to a Fitness Premier, marking the brand’s first location in the state.

For Isle, the move is a natural extension of a lifelong passion for fitness. “I am originally from Montana, born and raised,” he said. “Fitness has always been a background for me — I played high school and college sports. I got into personal training and did that for the last 17 years or so in Bozeman. But I’ve always wanted to own or operate my own gym.”

He and Davila, who first met 15 years ago while working in another local facility, realized they shared a vision. “I am from Miles City,” Davila said. “My wife and I came out here for school in 2004 and I studied exercise science and physiology. Since then, I have worked in a variety of industries and settings, from the clinical field to the private practice field to academia. After a few years, we collaborated and decided to open our own business.”

Six years ago, they launched Urban Fitness together, blending Isle’s training expertise with Davila’s background in exercise science, clinical practice and education. The decision to join Fitness Premier came after years of building friendships with the franchise’s leadership team.

“It was ultimately the people — the leadership team has been authentic, genuine, and they have a real interest in helping franchisees succeed,” Davila said. “They are very growth-oriented. That human aspect was really what sold us. On the business operations side, the numbers really speak for themselves. They are very innovative and staying progressive on what is coming down the road.”

The personal touch sealed the deal for Isle as well. “When we went to the headquarters, they were able to show us multiple locations and they remembered everyone’s names and knew people’s needs,” he said. “In our area, we do that really well already, but what they offer allows us to do that at a greater scale.”

The Bozeman facility is now preparing for its official conversion to Fitness Premier, a step that will bring expanded resources, technology and systems to support continued growth. And while the conversion is exciting, both partners already have their eyes on the future.

“When Chase and I started our current gym, we always envisioned having multiple locations,” Davila said. “So that was one of the things that was very intriguing about Fitness Premier. From a scalability factor, we thought that this could be a mutually beneficial relationship where we could help each other scale and could have multiple gyms in various markets. That was another big selling point.”

Founded by lifelong athletes Jason Markowicz and Rick King, Fitness Premier keeps a small-town, community feel while offering big-gym amenities, mid-tier pricing and modern tech to improve the member experience.
With its first Montana location underway, Fitness Premier continues to expand its mission: delivering a better fitness experience while empowering local entrepreneurs like Davila and Isle to thrive.

“Everyone has somebody different they are dealing with when it comes to fitness and we take pride in knowing we are helping people accomplish different aspects of their personal journeys,” Isle said. “That’s what this is all about.”
