MANHATTAN, IL – Jillyan Morris has been in the franchising world for over a decade. As a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician, she started out with Massage Envy and worked as an operating partner at Prose Nails. Eventually, her career took a turn into fitness as a regional manager at Fitness Premier 24/7 Clubs, where she has now been named the brand’s Franchise Success Manager. Fitness Premier, the 18-unit fitness franchise, added this brand new position to help franchisees succeed in building their business.

“In my role, I support franchisees in any way I can, such as helping them with any questions about analytics and numbers or providing them guidance and feedback,” said Morris.

Additionally, Morris will help new franchisees who are just starting out, acting as a liaison between them and the corporate side of the brand. Currently, the Fitness Premier team is working to build out an internal system to make its processes more streamlined.

“Because our goal is to grow pretty rapidly, it is important that there is a central area where everyone can access all the information, materials, collateral resources — anything like that,” said Morris. “That is one of my goals right now.”

As new clubs are opening, Morris is working with the franchisees on a one-on-one basis to review numbers and feedback and to provide any support they need to be set up for success with their teams. Unlike many other fitness concepts in the market, Fitness Premier clubs do not follow a boutique or big box-gym model. This allows franchisees to develop a model that works for them, their goals and available resources.

Fitness Premier is known for its unmatched back office and sales support. The brand already provides franchisees with pre-established programs and turnkey solutions that ensure operations and other processes are handled, allowing franchise owners to devote more attention to their business.

Several of Fitness Premier’s top leaders have started in some capacity with the company and have grown with the business. Like Morris, many executives began working in the gyms or the corporate office.

“We like to promote and hire from within, and I think we do a really nice job of developing and preparing people,” said Morris. “We do continuous training, not only on the business side but in leadership and on a personal level, too.”
